Process for Material-Only Canopy Orders
If you live outside of the Southeast United States, Mitchell Metals can still provide you with material for a metal canopy and/or aluminum walkway cover.
Our process for material-only projects is similar to our install projects, just without the installation segment. Our CAD/engineering department will guide you through the design of your canopy. Once a design is finalized, we will begin creating the shop drawings to send to the GC/Architect. Once the drawings are approved, we will order material, begin fabrication and ship it to your location.
Our process does not stop after delivery, as Mitchell Metals provides installation videos and telephone support.
What is Included with Your Pre-Fab Aluminum Canopy
Our commercial canopies are custom-designed for your project and include everything needed to install the system on the jobsite.
Our material-only process includes:
- Experienced staff to help walk you through the whole process.
- CAD/Engineering Department to assist with the design of your canopies and awnings
- Free estimates with quick turnaround time
- Engineered drawings are provided for approval and field verification which we use to custom fabricate our commercial canopies
- High-quality canopy components and hardware:
- Custom mitered corners for gutter
- Notched and welded drain beams
- Internally welded brackets and columns with no exposed fasteners
- Factory welded frames for Overhead Supported Canopies (as shipping allows)
- Decking cut to length
- Assembly hardware
- Material delivered in clearly marked, shrink-wrapped bundles
- Material is delivered on a dedicated flatbed truck with a protective tarp covering
- Installation videos on website and telephone support for field install.
